Hey!
I hope that all is well and that it's not too hot already. It's getting hotter here, but it's alright because it's turning GREEN too! Today we went to the city to the Cherry Blossom Festival and the blossoms are in full-bloom right now. :) So amazing. And it
was really cool because people will just go and have picnics and do yoga and take pictures there all day long. We got to just walk through the blossoms and talk to everyone. Very Fairytale-like. We also met some really interesting people and a lot of
members would go out of their way to run up to us. They were really nice and excited to see us. haha.
I really enjoyed conference this last weekend. I watched part in English and part in Spanish, and I find it amazing that I could receive revelation during both languages. The Spirit truly is universal and can speak to us in whatever language we may speak.
I really loved Elaine Dalton's talk about the divinity of Daughters of God and how amazing we are, and how blind we are to that fact. I also really loved President Utchdorf's talk in Priesthood Session about us being Toddlers and how just like we do not
condemn little children that are trying to walk and constantly stumble, the Lord does not look to condemn us. He rejoices when we make even the smallest steps of improvement. When we look outside of ourselves for one moment to help another person.
We are not meant to be perfect in this world, and just as a toddler sometimes may feel like he can't do it, we too feel inadequate or unable. But I'm learning that when we just keep trying, we keep looking to do good, and we truly come to know who we are,
we will succeed......it may take a lot of tries....but we will! :) I love you all! I hope that you are enjoying the fun and special moments with everyone you meet. The world is full of amazing people, who just like us need a little help sometimes.
Love you all!!!

(PS. I just got the email that the uke should get here tomorrow! Thank you mom and dad! :) I'm playing in a performance this Sunday so PERFECT! Also, please use the Ukulele picture instead of the one I sent you fore the plaque. The guy at the passport picture place didn't let me check the photo before he printed it...So It's weird and too much white. hahaha. Sorry, I tried! Thanks again for everything!)
