Change!

February 13, 2013

Happy Valentine's Day!!! and Happy Birthday Kendra (and Abe Lincoln)!!!

I hope the cruise was fun and that you got to explore a lot! How are you doing this week? Things here are changing quite a bit and now I will be at the Visitor Center everyday instead of only 4 times a week. CRAZY. It is because they are changing a lot of our areas to full proselyting (or full time teaching). So this transfer will be more focussed on the VC although we still teach in our area as well. Also, I got a new companion named Hermana Word. We both had the same trainer so it has been fun to have similar memories. But I had a good last week with Hermana Blasco, and I'm definitely gonna miss being spontaneous with her.

I don't have my camera with me but next time I'll post the photos. I was asked to sing at this year's first night of music and inspiration. It felt like home being on the stage and singing again. It was fun to hear the variety of performances since we have missionaries from all over the world. There was even an islander number about Jesus Christ that was awesome. Reminded me of the Mann Family! It was a good way to end this transfer and I'm looking forward to the upcoming ones. Another fun thing that happened when I was with Hermana Blasco, is that we were teaching this lady named Gaby and her daughter Ariel, and they had a big dog that was really a puppy, but was a BIG DOG. So Hermana Blasco doesn't like dogs and for some reason this "puppy" kept trying to climb on top of her. So as she was sharing a scripture about humilty the dog had crept around the couch and then out of no where pounced on her back. We walked out the house and she looked at me with big eyes and said, "I hate dogs." I t was pretty funny.

It is so crazy that it has been 5 months. That is something that hit me the other day. I am just so grateful for all of the support, especially from you all. The Lord has blessed me here without holding back and I hope that you are feeling blessed as well. I know that Heavenly Father will help each of us, even when we feel we are out of his reach. Don't let pride block your view of heaven. Love you all!

Hermana Clement
